Every {lower} request answers these questions before it reaches you. Follow-up questions appear only when an earlier answer calls for them.

Because homeowners can tick several tasks, one request can add up to a full visit, and the time estimate helps you decide whether the trip is worth it. Some jobs that start small cross into licensed work: in Ontario, for example, only a licensed electrical contractor can be hired for electrical work in a home.

How matching works

Requests are matched by published rules that are the same for every pro.

How we rank and match pros
  • You receive a request only for services you offer and haven’t excluded, in the areas you serve.
  • Your account must be active, with your email address and phone number verified, and you must be accepting new requests within the daily or weekly limits you set.
  • Requests reach you only with timings you accept, such as emergencies, and budgets that aren’t clearly outside the range you work in.
  • When more pros fit than a lead allows, we give more weight to an exact service match, how directly you cover the area, verification, how quickly you reply and, once you have at least three published reviews, your rating. Never to who pays more.
  • Each lead goes to a limited number of pros, and you see that number before you decide.

Invalid leads and refunds

If a lead turns out to be invalid, you can ask for a refund review from your dashboard. We look at each request and let you know the outcome. A lead may qualify when:

  • The contact details are wrong or don't work.
  • It duplicates a lead you already received.
  • It isn't a real request for work.
  • It's outside the services or areas you listed.

Verification you’ll need

Before you receive leads, you confirm your business email and phone number with one-time codes. Business registration, licence and insurance details are optional during sign-up; once our team checks them, your profile shows what was verified and when.

In this trade, these services often require a licence: Small Electrical Jobs, Small Plumbing Jobs. Add your licence details during sign-up so our team can check them.
