How leads work

Creating a basic profile is free. You pay only when you choose to connect with a request, with no monthly fee and no contract to sign.

We may offer optional subscriptions in the future, with things like discounts or extra tools. They will never be required to receive leads.

Once you accept a lead, you get the homeowner's contact details, the full request and messaging on LokalMatch. From there, it's up to you to follow up, quote and win the job.

Lead prices are set per service, location and project type. A small job, such as a leaky faucet or a furnace tune-up, generally costs less than a basement finish, a roof replacement or an emergency call.

Every price is in Canadian dollars (CAD) and is shown before you accept, so there are no surprises. Your lead purchases, credits and invoices are all in your dashboard.

We cap how many pros can receive each lead, and you see that number before you decide. Homeowners are usually introduced to no more than three pros.

If a lead turns out to be invalid, you can ask for a refund review from your dashboard. We look at each request and let you know the outcome. A lead may qualify when:

We don't promise a set number of leads, and we can't guarantee that a lead turns into a job. What we can do is send you requests that match the work you want, in the areas you serve, with the details you need to decide.

You can pay for leads from account credit. Top-ups come in CAD 50, CAD 100, CAD 250 and CAD 500 amounts, and every dollar you top up is a dollar of credit.

We don't charge GST/HST, or QST in Québec, on lead prices or credit top-ups today. If that changes, we'll tell you before it applies.

Leads cover the trades Canadian homeowners hire most, from roofers, electricians and plumbers to HVAC technicians, renovators, painters and landscapers. Your profile shows homeowners which of your details our team has checked, such as your provincial licence or your RBQ licence in Québec, and verified details count in how pros are ranked.
