Get environmental consulting leads in Australia
Advisory requests state the reason behind the work, which is the fact that decides how quickly it has to happen. The client says whether a customer or a tender requires it, whether a regulation or a permit does, whether a property is being bought, sold or financed, or whether this is their own improvement with no deadline attached.

What a environmental consulting lead shows you
Every environmental consulting request answers these questions before it reaches you. Follow-up questions appear only when an earlier answer calls for them.
The work itself is picked from a short list: a site assessment or permits, sustainability and ESG reporting, risk assessment and business continuity, or certification against a named standard. Where a standard is chosen, the request says which one, so a quality audit never reaches you as an information-security job.

The guide clients get on this site
We publish a environmental consulting guide for clients. It is written for them, not for us, and its headings are a fair list of what someone who has read it will ask you about.
What the guide covers
- The NEPM is the national yardstick for assessing site contamination
- Contaminated land is regulated state by state
- When the Commonwealth becomes involved: the EPBC Act
- How a site investigation is staged
- The main kinds of environmental consulting sold in Australia
- What goes wrong on environmental jobs
- Consultant, auditor and regulator are three different roles
Questions it answers
- Is there a single national contaminated land regulator in Australia?
- Does a result above an investigation level mean the site is contaminated?
- When does a project need a federal environmental assessment?
- Why do consultants insist on a site history before sampling?
- Can the same firm do the investigation and the remediation?

When the Commonwealth becomes involved: the EPBC Act
From our guide for this trade, with the official sources it was checked against.
The Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 sits on top of the state systems and only bites when a proposed action may have a significant impact on a matter of national environmental significance. Part 3 of the Act lists those matters in separate subdivisions: declared World Heritage properties, National Heritage places, declared Ramsar wetlands, listed threatened species and ecological communities, listed migratory species, nuclear actions, the Commonwealth marine area, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, and water resources in relation to large coal mining and coal seam gas development.
The practical consequence for a project is timing rather than paperwork. Flora and fauna surveys that support an EPBC assessment have to be done in the season the species can actually be detected, so the ecology scope is usually the first thing to lock in and the thing most likely to push a program out if it is left late.

How matching works
Requests are matched by published rules that are the same for every pro.
How we rank and match pros- You receive a request only for services you offer and haven’t excluded, in the areas you serve.
- Your account must be active, with your email address and phone number verified, and you must be accepting new requests within the daily or weekly limits you set.
- Requests reach you only with timings you accept, such as emergencies, and budgets that aren’t clearly outside the range you work in.
- When more pros fit than a lead allows, we give more weight to an exact service match, how directly you cover the area, verification, how quickly you reply and, once you have at least three published reviews, your rating. Never to who pays more.
- Each lead goes to a limited number of pros, and you see that number before you decide.
Invalid leads and refunds
If a lead turns out to be invalid, you can ask for a refund review from your dashboard. We look at each request and let you know the outcome. A lead may qualify when:
- The contact details are wrong or don't work.
- It duplicates a lead you already received.
- It isn't a real request for work.
- It's outside the services or areas you listed.
Verification you’ll need
Before you receive leads, you confirm your business email and phone number with one-time codes. Business registration, licence and insurance details are optional during sign-up; once our team checks them, your profile shows what was verified and when.
Contact details verified
You confirm your business email and phone number with one-time codes. This is required before you receive leads.
Business registration checked
Our team reviews the registration details you provide.
Licence and insurance checked
Where your trade calls for a licence or insurance, we review what you provide.
Verification shows which details were checked and when. It isn’t a guarantee of workmanship, and it can’t be bought.

- Choose only the standards you are qualified to advise on. The client names the standard in the request, and the wrong match is obvious immediately.
- A site assessment tied to a property purchase runs to somebody else's timetable. Accept the faster timings only if you can genuinely meet them.
- Say in your profile which sectors you have worked in. A tender-driven client is usually checking whether you know their industry before anything else.
