What a HVAC lead shows you

Every {lower} request answers these questions before it reaches you. Follow-up questions appear only when an earlier answer calls for them.

Homeowners pick their equipment from a short list (gas, electric or oil furnace, boiler, heat pump or central air) and say whether the system is working at all. Age is asked for repairs, replacements and maintenance, which helps you judge whether a service call may turn into a replacement conversation.

Victoria
Gas is its own licensed class, not something a general plumber picks up: Energy Safe Victoria tells consumers to always use a licensed gasfitter for any installation, repairs or renovations involving gas work, and the Victorian Building Authority administers the licensing and registration system for plumbers and gasfitters. The piece homeowners most often miss is the paperwork — after installing a gas appliance, the licensed gasfitter must give you a compliance certificate. Keep it: it is what obliges them to come back and fix a defective installation.

Requests are matched by published rules that are the same for every pro.

How we rank and match pros

You receive a request only for services you offer and haven’t excluded, in the areas you serve.
Your account must be active, with your email address and phone number verified, and you must be accepting new requests within the daily or weekly limits you set.
Requests reach you only with timings you accept, such as emergencies, and budgets that aren’t clearly outside the range you work in.
When more pros fit than a lead allows, we give more weight to an exact service match, how directly you cover the area, verification, how quickly you reply and, once you have at least three published reviews, your rating. Never to who pays more.
Each lead goes to a limited number of pros, and you see that number before you decide.

Invalid leads and refunds

If a lead turns out to be invalid, you can ask for a refund review from your dashboard. We look at each request and let you know the outcome. A lead may qualify when:

The contact details are wrong or don't work.
It duplicates a lead you already received.
It isn't a real request for work.
It's outside the services or areas you listed.

Before you receive leads, you confirm your business email and phone number with one-time codes. Business registration, licence and insurance details are optional during sign-up; once our team checks them, your profile shows what was verified and when.
