When pros get your contact details
Pros see a summary of your job first. Your name, street address, email and phone number are shared only with pros who connect with your request.
What pros see before they connect
Pros who are offered your request see enough to decide whether the job is right for them, and nothing that identifies you:
- The type of job and your answers to the job questions.
- The general area: the first three characters of your postal code.
- When you need the work done, and your budget if you gave one.
- Your description of the project. Phone numbers or email addresses you typed in it are hidden.
- How many photos you added, but not the photos themselves.
What pros get when they connect
When a pro connects, they receive your name, street address, email address, phone number and preferred contact method, along with your full request and your photos. A conversation with you opens on LokalMatch, and we email you to say who connected.
Only pros who connect receive these details, and never more pros than the limit stated in the consent you agreed to.
After you close a request
Closing a request stops new pros from connecting. Pros who already connected keep the details they received, because they're part of their business records, and you can still message them.
Staying safe
- Keep payments and personal documents out of messages.
- LokalMatch will never ask for your password.
