Change or close a request

Open the request under My requests to change the project details, when you need the work done and how you'd like to be contacted. You can edit it until a pro connects. After that it's locked, so send any changes to the pros who connected in a message.

The service and the address can't be changed. If either is wrong, close the request and send a new one.

Closing a request stops new pros from being offered it or connecting with it, and it can't be undone. Close your request once you've found someone, so other pros don't pay for a job that's gone.

Pros who already connected keep your details and can still message you.

If you confirm a second request for the same service with the same email address within a day, we keep the first one instead of creating a duplicate, so pros don't see the job twice.

If you sent requests without an account, create one with the same email address and confirm it with the code we send. Your earlier requests then appear under My requests, where you can edit or close them.
