How your address is used
We ask for the street address of the job so pros know where the work is. It's never shown publicly, and only pros who connect with your request receive it.
Why we ask for it
Your postal code tells us which pros serve the area. The street address tells the pros you connect with where the job is, so they can plan a visit and quote accurately.
Who sees it
- Pros who connect with your request see your full address, along with your name and contact details.
- Pros who are offered your request but haven't connected see only the general area: the first three characters of your postal code.
- Our team can see requests when it's needed to run the service, for example to check a request or look into a report.
- Your address is never shown on public pages, in reviews or on pro profiles. Reviews show only the city or region of a job.
Address suggestions
When address suggestions are switched on, what you type in the address field is sent through our servers to an address-lookup provider to find matching addresses. You can always type your address yourself instead.
If the address is wrong
The address can't be edited after you send a request. If it's wrong, close the request and send a new one. To have your information corrected or deleted, see your privacy choices or write to privacy@lokalmatch.com.
