What each verification badge means
Each pro profile shows a verification level and a list of the checks done, with the date of each one. Here's what they mean, and what they don't.
Verification levels
- Not yet verified: the pro hasn't confirmed their contact details. Profiles at this level don't receive leads.
- Contact details verified: the pro confirmed their business email and phone number with one-time codes.
- Business verified: our team checked the business registration details the pro provided.
- Licence and insurance verified: our team checked the licence and insurance details the pro's trade calls for.
The list of checks and their dates
Under the level, each profile lists individual checks, such as email address, phone number, business registration, licence, insurance, certifications, association membership or owner identity. Each one shows the date it was verified, or “Not checked yet”.
Where a pro gave a licence number and the body that issued it, the profile shows both so you can confirm the licence yourself.
What verification doesn't cover
- It isn't a guarantee of workmanship, pricing or conduct.
- Licences and insurance can expire or change after the date we checked them.
- It can't be bought. Pros can't pay for a higher level.
- LokalMatch doesn't do the work. Your agreement is with the pro you hire.
