Your booking: confirming and changing the time
Accepting a quote creates a booking. The pro proposes times, you pick one, and you confirm the job once it's done.

From accepted quote to booking
When you accept a quote, the booking is created straight away and appears on the request under My requests. Until a time is agreed it shows as waiting to be scheduled.
A booking doesn't take any payment, and LokalMatch doesn't do the work. It's a shared record of what was agreed and when the job is happening.
Picking a time
If none of the options work, choose “None of these times work” and add a message about what suits you better. That clears the proposal and the pro proposes new times.
- The pro proposes up to 3 options. Each one starts and ends on the same day, in the time zone where the work is, and is at most 14 hours long.
- We notify you. Open the booking and choose the option that suits you.
- Choosing one confirms the booking, and the pro is told which time you picked.
Changing a confirmed time
Either of you can ask to reschedule and suggest up to 3 new times. The booking keeps its current time until the other side accepts one of them, so nothing changes behind your back.
Whoever asked can't answer their own request. If the request is declined, the booking simply keeps the time it had.
Reminders and the calendar file
We remind both of you 24 hours before the scheduled start. You can also add the booking to your own calendar: the “Add to calendar” link downloads an .ics file your calendar app can open.
Every time on the booking is shown in the time zone of the job site, and the page says which one that is.
When the job is done
Once the scheduled start has passed, the pro can mark the job as done. We ask you to confirm it's complete, and the booking waits for your answer.
If you don't answer, the job is confirmed automatically 7 days after the pro marked it done. We warn you 48 hours before that happens, so you have time to speak up.
Confirming is just a record that the work is finished. It isn't a payment, and it doesn't sign away any right you have.
Reporting a problem
If the work isn't finished or isn't right, report a problem on the booking and say what's wrong. The pro is told, and the automatic confirmation stops: a booking with an open problem is never confirmed automatically.
The pro can put things right and mark the job done again, or you can confirm it's complete yourself at any point. If you still can't agree, you can ask our team to look at both sides.
Cancelling a booking
Either side can cancel, with a reason, up until the pro marks the job as done. The other side is notified and sees the reason you gave. A cancelled booking can't be reopened, so start again from a new quote if plans change back.
Your cancellation rights
The booking page also shows general information about cancelling, based on where the work is being done and how the agreement was made, with links to the official sources and the date we last checked them.
It's information, not legal advice, and it doesn't change anything about your booking. Your local consumer protection office can tell you what applies to your situation.
