Editing a review you wrote

The window runs for 30 days from the moment you submitted the review, not from when it was published. After that the review stays as it is, and you'd need to contact us about any correction.

Only the review's author can edit it. A pro can never edit a review of their business, though they can post a public response to it.

An edited review goes back for checking, exactly like a new one. The same automatic checks run, so an edit that adds a phone number, an email address or a link is held for a person to look at.

While it's being checked the review isn't shown and doesn't count towards the pro's rating. Once it's published again, your new rating counts instead of the old one.

We keep the previous rating and wording in our records, so the history of a review is never lost.

A republished review keeps the date it was first published, and shows that it was edited, with the date of the edit. Nobody sees your earlier wording.

A review we removed can't be edited. If you think the removal was wrong, appeal it instead: the notice we sent you says which rule applied and how to appeal.
